Today is 24th Apr 2008 and we went to garden this morning. Today’s task was grubbing up weeds and flowers. We needed to take a basket for packing, and take both big and small forks for grubbing.
At the beginning, I thought it was easy, but when I tried to use the big fork to dig soil, I found it was difficult. The most difficult thing was to grub up weeds and flowers, because they were very big lumps with soil, and you need to separate from the weeds and soil. My god!
We found some earthworms in the garden, Vicky and Kyla were very afraid of them and screaming, but Zukhar and Yana didn’t afraid, especially Zukhar, she even took it on her hand and kill it(very disgusting , but she was very enjoy and laughing.),sometimes she will throw them to Vicky and we can hear Vicky’s screaming. I worked with Yana and Zhulduz , because of boring ,we sang the Chinese children’s songs. Zhulduz learnt Chinese children’s songs about stars, she loved it very much. We also asked Park and Lee sang the Korea children’s songs, they disagreed at first and asked why many times, I answered because today was Thursday and tomorrow was Friday and the day after tomorrow was Saturday and then was Sunday ..They were laughing at the moment. But they also sang the songs.
This class was hard but interesting, not only just because of the work, but also because of the songs. Very funny.
