This morning we had an Environmental Studies lesson. It taught us how to build a willow dome. I was put with Jack in a group. First, we put on the welly boots and gloves, and then we carried the shovels to the field.
To build a willow dome, first we need to dig a circle on the field. Pavel and the teacher used some tools to make a circle on the field. Then Jack and I followed Ms Amanda to carry the compost to the field. We used a wheelbarrow to carry it. It was really interesting. Jack couldn't control it very well so the wheelbarrow always wobbled on its wheel. Finally we dug the circle into a trench, and then we dug the trench deeper and deeper so that we could put the willow into it. We put the compost into the hole to cover the willow's root so that it can grow well one day.
I wish that it would grow more quickly so that we can see our achievement. If one day somebody comes to see our dome, they will say: "how beautiful it is!"
