Shuyu

On Wednesday we went outside to build a willow dome. It was my first time to hear of and build such a thing.
Firstly we dug a hole which became round. We put the trunk of the tree into the round hole. It is very important to leave space between two trees so that they are not too close. Then we tied pairs of trees together. When we had finished tying all the trees it looked like a small house. Oh! I forgot to tell you the most important thing. When we put the trees into the hole, we needed to put the special soil, it's called compost, and it makes the trees strong. Then we put the smaller trees into the holes between the big trees. The small trees are used for making the dome beautiful and strong. Lastly we tidied up our things to go back.
